CS Skinning is dying.

It is obvious that valve has formed the community's perception of what skinning is by adding price tags to low quality re-color skins for Counter Strike.

I check the video Gamebanana posted a while ago on youtube regarding the cs:go skin contest and it makes me sad to see that it only has 40k views, while recolors get hundreds of thousands or even a million views.

Part of the cs community worked hard to bring quality models and textures for cs:go, but valve keeps pushing their crappy re-color method.

Isn't it time to stop thinking with money and return the favor to the community? Because it's the community who made Counter Strike what it is today. Valve decided to exploit upcoming skinners by letting them SELL their half arsed paintjobs so they can make easy cash. But is it worth it?
